This design pays homage to the superb vintage golf clubs that feature signatures of Australian players past. Until the ‘80’s golfers could be taught by the local pro & sold clubs bearing his signature. Back then ‘bespoke’ clubs were common until superseded by those plastered with the brand name or that of a global superstar. Among those whose (now vintage) clubs bore his name was John Creen, who fitted & sold ‘his’ clubs for decades from the pro shop at Wattle Park in Mebourne. Today his eponymous clubs & those of his peers are collector’s items found in op shops around the country.
