Criss Canning, born in Melbourne, is one of Australia’s leading still-life artists, who composes distinctive artworks featuring flora and unique objects, arranged to effortlessly create seductive textures and balanced still-life compositions. Incredibly accomplished, Criss has devoted the past 50 years to painting. Working with oils, each brushstroke is thoughtfully applied with colour-laden gestures to create two and three-dimensional forms.
